Explored: Hunters Game

Hiding in the northern BC recently, naturally I’d wake in the middle of the evenings in frightful terror of wild beasts and gloriously epic battles of human strength and animal instinct… Or maybe I just watch a lot of movies.

My latest paintings are titled Hunters Game. These three paintings are an exploration of the animal inside of us all. Perhaps we adapt some animal traits just as animals may adapt some traits of humans. What would the world be like if crows sat atop their trees and picked us off with bow & arrows?

These three paintings were made with a mixture of acrylic paint, spray paint, charcoal, oil pastels, and tar pavement treatment. It took three evenings to complete the three paintings, which were painted side by side.

These items are for sale in my store.
