In the middle of my trip through Rogers Pass, and the Kootneys, I had a few days to kill with Kimberbow in Calgary. So, I did what any photographer would do with blue skies and all day to kill in a beautiful city, took photographs!
A few weeks ago, I had the opportunity, and time, to head through the Rockies, once through Rogers Pass, which means Golden, Lake Louise, and Banff. On the way back, I took the Crowsnest Pass which was much further South, and much warmer!
This post will focus on the pass from Kamloops to Calgary, although the first picture is at the peak of the Coquihalla Highway, from Vancouver to Kamloops, but it’s a pretty one!
I recently made a trip up to Calgary to shoot with the illustrious Kimberbow where we had fun, and hit up a whole lot of great locations to boot.
The first day we did the shoot on Nose Hill Park, a huge park inside Calgary territory.
The next day we went out to the badlands and did a shoot on the Hoodoos and a canyon just west of Drumheller in the dark at that time.
Poor Kimberbow was freezing herself for me!
