Spending a little time going through my old boxes of .stuff. I found my collection of hockey pucks.
I remember I had a set of them from the year our Peewee team won the Provincials back in the day. I had put tape around each of them to write which game of the Provincial Finals they were from. I didn’t find those pucks, I found the pucks that had all the team logos on them.
Needless to say, I saved the pucks from being lost forever, and they now are in a proper box labelled and everything. This is a small selection of the pucks I had.
I found it funny that on the Canucks puck it says it’s made in Czechoslovakia, and the LA Kings puck is made in Canada. The LA Kings puck is an official puck, used in a game, and so was the team Canada puck. You can actually feel the hardness difference in the pucks between cheap collectors pucks and game used ones. All the pucks were used in games of the team represented on the pucks, except the Canucks one.
