Steveston: A Wandering

Posted on 10th October 2011 in nature, Street Photography, wandering

Last weekend I had the pleasure to go hang out with my friend down in Steveston, on a somewhat overcast day. Normally I don’t like to do photography on overcast and dull days, but I decided, since I had been delaying for a few weeks, to head down there. As luck would have it, as I approached Steveston, there was some crazy cloud formations that were developing. I think it’s always the case down there, for its right on the edge of the water.

Fish markets, boardwalks and old canneries were all seen, and enjoyed. I even had the pleasure to talk to a fellow about his heritage boats ( a volunteer run organization), where he tried to get me to sign up!

Anyways, this is what I saw.

Davie Street Community Garden

Community gardens are great, they promote green spaces, a sense of community, an escape from the busy life, and a place for our insects to roam free!

While wandering around the other day, I happened upon the Davie Street community garden, and this is what I found.
