Berlin, Germany

I came to Berlin to meet my friend Jaybo, and see his art show. One of the two I accomplished.

Berlin was my stop over en-route to Riga, Latvia. I arrived in the early evening, and wandered the streets with no plan except that my flight was very early the next morning and I wouldn’t bed down for the night. Optimistic I was, I am aware, but with a little help from my friends, I made it alive [and tired].

Berlin was a very creative town. I found a few very interesting districts that really made me feel like spontaneously morphing into a creative piece of flesh. For me it was actually the street art, the city walls, the architecture that attracted me. I guess it’s in these cities, that everybody looks the same. It’s in these cities where everybody is very afraid of looking different and is very intent on fitting the fashion that it makes it incredibly hard to find an interesting soul to photograph. Sometimes, you just catch a lucky day.

I did two days in Berlin, once on my way there, and once on the way back.
