On June 4th, I headed out to Squamish for a late hike up the Stawamus Chief with my tripod, and some essentials for nutrients and hydration. I realized it was a late hike, and as I started, I was met by a few concerned faces and one man that actually stopped me and asked if I knew how long the hike was and that it would most likely be getting dark as I came down. I smiled and asked him if he had a great hike today, “Yes, I’ve done this before.”
I met a fellow from Germany visiting at the top, who couldn’t help himself but comment on my camera and was amazed that I would take a tripod up on such a hike, remarking that only somebody who was serious would do that. It made me feel a bit proud, I’ll admit. We hopped down the hill as the dusk settled on us and at the bottom we talked for a few minutes, but as you can see at the end, when I was getting into my car, it was dark out.
Great shots! The Chief is such an awesome hike.
Thank you Kyle, I agree. It’s a very nice hike, all hikes in Vancouver are beautiful though, we are lucky to have such trails around us.
Awesome blog post, incredible webpage template, continue the great work
